A rumor going around is that center fielder of the Rangers, Josh Hamilton may end up a Brewer once he reaches free agency. The Brewers do have an incentive that might just work.
He will probably be looking for something over 5 years and over $100 million dollars. Some teams may be hesitant to sign due to drug and alcohol abuse, resulting in a smaller deal than expected. This could be a very interesting Free Agent.
The Brewers do need a strong left-handed hitter and a MVP type like Hamilton may be the guy. The Brew Crew’s current center fielder isn’t anything great in Carlos Gomez. The main incentive for Josh to come would be Johnny Narron. He is currently the hitting coach for the Brewers. He was Josh’s mentor and personal hitting coach back in Texas. They have known each other their whole lives, their relationship goes way back. Johnny has helped Hamilton not only as a coach, but also as a person. He has helped him stay out of drugs and trouble. I know Josh would love to get reunited with Narron. I see this being a pretty good incentive for him to come here to Milwaukee. Don’t see why he wouldn’t want to come. The Brewers look like they really could be a great team next year!!!
Could you imagine this line up:
1. Norichika Aoki
2.Rickie Weeks
3.Ryan Braun
4.Josh Hamilton
5. Aramis Ramirez
6.Corey Hart
7.Jonathan Lucroy
8.Jean Segura
9. Pitcher
WOW, POWER HOUSE. Just think about a Braun, Hamilton, Ramirez, Hart in a row. This looks like one of the best lineups in baseball, could be unstoppable if they played like they did at the end of the year. Weeks, Aoki, and Segura are also VERY good hitters. The only weakness I could see is the pitcher, unless Yovani Gallardo is pitching.
I really don’t see why not we couldn’t see him in a Brewer uniform, unless he goes for some ludacris deal.
Maybe….
