Meet Clark the Cub! The Cubs now have a mascot that is supposed to be very kid-friendly. What do you think of it?

Meet Clark the Cub! The Cubs new mascot!
When you’ve been as bad as the Cubs have been for the past 5 seasons, you have to do something to attract young fans. Clark is all about making sure that there is a fan base developed in the younger generation because the Cubs sure can’t rely on their on field performance to attract fans. As a Cub fan I’ll accept anything that keeps young kids away from rooting for the Cardinals.
I don’t think it’s too bad. My 6-yr-old really liked him, so I guess that’s the target audience. I’d like to get us to a Cubs game soon, and will look forward to seeing what the ‘real’ mascot will be like.

It is still amazing a team that has been around as long as the Cubbies only recently “officially” adopted a furry friend. I like that the emphasis on the mascot will be in the concourse, at team charity and younger fan functions and most of all have his own “den” within the stadium. As long as the person who makes Clark personality shines keep his image spunky and wholesome, it could be one of those unexpected “win-wins” for the franchise and the fans……..But he might need pants for those cold night games. You can expect every kids visit now has to have a photo op with Clark……It’s anew twist to each young kids or person young at heart’s new game ritual at Wrigley.
Pants=MUST! 🙂 I think that Clark can only be positive for the Cubs! It will definitely help bring the young ones in! Hopefully it turns out well!
THANKS FOR DROPPING BYE!
